Screen Accurate AL BUNDY Hawaiian Shirt

Inspired by the shirt worn by Al Bundy in Married… with Children, Season 8, "Poppy's by the Tree".

Built around a loose watercolour floral on red: marigold blooms with pointed petals, plain white five-petal flowers, and leaves washed in blue and yellow-green laid over the top of each other. The shapes are painted flat with soft edges and no outlines, so the colours meet directly and the red only shows through in the gaps. Printed edge to edge — the pattern runs across the collar, the sleeves and the back.

The shirt of a man who has clocked off and has no intention of being reached.

Cut from a lightweight 95% polyester / 5% spandex weave with an open Cuban collar, short sleeves and a relaxed body. Dye-sublimated so the print sits in the fibre rather than on top of it — no surface texture, no cracking. Finished with a straight hem, a chest pocket and off-white buttons. A small TropiScene mark hidden in the artwork.
