Screen Accurate BACK TO THE FUTURE MARTY McFLY Spiral Dot Hawaiian Shirt

Inspired by Marty McFly in Back to the Future (1985).

Built entirely from small red-and-white rings: laid end to end into lines, then coiled into nested square spirals set at staggered angles across a navy ground. Some blocks fill solid with rings while others stay open, which is what gives a print built from one repeated shape any depth at all. Printed edge to edge — the pattern runs across the collar, the sleeves and the back.

Eighties graphic in the strictest sense — one mark, repeated until it becomes a pattern.

Cut from a lightweight 95% polyester / 5% spandex weave with an open Cuban collar, short sleeves and a relaxed body. Dye-sublimated so the print sits in the fibre rather than on top of it — no surface texture, no cracking. Finished with a straight hem, a clean chest and off-white buttons. A small TropiScene mark hidden in the artwork.
