Inspired by Biff Tannen in Back to the Future (1955).
Built around a tiled tiki carving print: rectangular blocks butted edge to edge, each holding its own carved motif — spirals, stylised masks, stacked bar patterns — worked in red, teal, cream and gold over black. The blocks alternate between upright and sideways, so the grid holds together without any two panels reading the same. Printed edge to edge — the pattern runs across the collar, the sleeves and the back.
Loud, blocky and slightly aggressive, which is the correct read.
Cut from a lightweight 95% polyester / 5% spandex weave with an open Cuban collar, short sleeves and a relaxed body. Dye-sublimated so the print sits in the fibre rather than on top of it — no surface texture, no cracking. Finished with a straight hem, a clean chest and off-white buttons.
